Rufforth- Friday was the usual get together in the room with a game of bingo.
Saturday saw the local bus hijacked for a trip into York with its many fine attractions Museums & pubs etc. The local pub was also well supported with the landlord staying open longer than usual, with instructions to pre warn him next time for another late afternoon.
Saturday night we were back in the room where our hosts entertained us with a quiz.

Selby-Halloween Weekend. Friday was a free & easy with bingo and a quiz.
Saturday with no coffee morning, gave us an early start to decorate the room for the nights party, and for a trip into Selby to visit the pubs, shops etc. Late afternoon had people decorating vans. Best van was won by Yvonne & Len.
The evening’s event had all sorts of witches & ghouls entering the room. A brilliant effort by all, plus chilli & hot dogs which made for a great night. A few even finished fresh faced after the apple bobbing. Big thanks to Pete & Sue for providing the spooky décor for all the room. Graham for the music, and all the many helpers that made this a great fun event.

Bolton Abbey Steam Railway-Friday night was free & easy in the station café with a game of bingo.
Saturday had the club subsidised coach running two trips into Skipton with the pubs,shops & market well visited. Saturday night had us back in the café room with a quiz etc. to finish the day off. The steam train ran on Sunday to Embsay.
