West Cliff School, Whitby was a new venue, the weather was excellent. It was also a Goth weekend and we had a prime position in the town. Friday was the usual social and bingo in the school. Saturday saw most of us go into the town to enjoy the festivities folllowed by a faith supper. 18 vans attended, 15 Yorks & 3 N/C.
May day rally at Redcar started with a free & easy on Friday night. Saturday, most of us tried to find the answers to a Redcar quiz and at night we had bingo and a Yorkshire quiz. Music by Graeme. Sunday night we played “Mr & Mrs”. Thanks to all the victims! 42 vans attended, 36 Yorks, 1 E/Y and 1 Spanish. Friday night at Hawes was our informal get together and bingo. Saturday was wet but most went into town, visited the Wensleydale creamery for the cheese and wine party which was followed by a cheese quiz. 40 vans attended, 28 Yorks, 1 E/Y, 2 Lancs, 5 N/C, 2 Spanish, 1 Chiltern & 1 guest.
Friday night at Lightwater Valley we used the tent for the first time this year, on Saturday we all had a good time in the theme park despite the changeable weather. What’s a bit of rain after the White Water Rapids! Sarah Britton won the van quiz. 18 vans attended, 5 N/C, 12 Yorks 1 SW Peninsula. Thanks to Richard & Ann for hosting.
