Boston Spa. On Friday the vans battled high winds to reach the rally, with the A1 closed in both directions. At night we had a free & easy night with a quiz & bingo.
Saturday people visited Boston Spa or took the bus into Wetherby.
Saturday night a buffet was laid on by Ann to celebrate Steve' birthday the previous day. After we held a theme tune quiz followed by snail racing which brought the evening to a noisy end.

Rufforth. Again vans battled high winds plus snow to reach the venue. Friday night was a free & easy with a quiz and bingo.
Saturday was greeted by better weather with people venturing into York, Leeds and the local village pub. At night a faith supper buffet was for our previous chairman Les to celebrate his forthcoming 60th birthday.

Leyburn. In contrast to previous rallies this weekend was greeted by fine clear blue skies. Friday we had the usual free & easy with bingo and a general knowledge quiz.
Saturday people made the very short walk into Leyburn to sample the local pubs & shops. Some members ventured down to the Tennants auction room to try and bid on a bargain or meet bargain hunts Tim Wannacot who was with a BBC crew filming this weekend. At night Ann & Richard laid on a buffet for Williams 19th birthday, on Sunday, which was appreciated by everybody. A music quiz then rounded the night off.
Sunday, birthday greetings were passed on to William and Chuck, also to Steve who has his birthday later on in the week. Welcome to first time visitors Mr & Mrs Humphreys.
